STRENGTH ANALYSIS RESULTS OF A MULTI-STOREY BUILDING
Not all universities in Indonesia have a large area of land for building construction to meet the needs of the teaching and learning process. So, one solution is to build a multi-floor building. However, the problem faced is that the building built is still worrying in terms of strength and stability for the long term considering that in Indonesia there are frequent earthquakes that have a direct effect on the buildings built. In order for the desire to build a multi-storey building, one solution is to analyze the concept of earthquake resistance correctly according to the applicable SNI regulations.
The UNISMUH Faculty of Medicine Building is calculated at a high earthquake risk level (risk category IV with an earthquake primacy factor of Ie = 1.5) so that the structural system applied in calculations through ETABS software version 9.7 is a Special Moment Bearing Frame System (SRPMK) which has very strict reinforcement detailing.(Structural Consultant Ayuddin/SCA).
In the following, I present the results of an analysis of a 12-story reinforced concrete building with respect to the functional structure of a building.
