STRENGTH ANALYSIS RESULT OF OVAL-SHAPED MOSQUE

This multi-storey mosque is located in Padduppa, precisely in Tempe Lake, Sengkang City, Wajo Regency, South Sulawesi, Indonesia. This mosque is designed with a unique model similar to Modern Mall construction. Because it is located around the lake, the structural strength analysis is the main thing taken into account so that this mosque can stand firm and strong from various loading combinations including earthquake loads that may occur and the swift flow of river water. This mosque is also calculated for its economic value in building including the dimensions of the Beams, Columns, and the depth of the Foundation. The distance between columns reaches 10 meters due to consideration of functional space and multi-function of the Mosque. Although, the distance between columns is usually only able to reach 6 to 8 meters. However, with the development of science, experience, and the use of structure software, it is possible to analyze more optimally in achieving structural strength.
